Boulder Creek Falls - Idaho

YIKES! This was a DIFFICULT ONE!! The terrain was VERY HARD. Rocky terrain. We had one fall with a skinned knee, a twisted ankle, and scrapes from the foliage. Took us THREE hours to get to it since we had to cross the stream by going over rotted logs. Ran out of water (again, yes, our fault) but we can attest to the fact that the stream has good water with no ill side effects. WHEW.

The set of falls that no one seemed to know about.

We should've known it would be a challenge
from this first bridge.

Success at the falls!

It is pretty amazing that we actually got to it!  Sadly, I have to report that the box, though, has a big hole in it and is waterlogged. We didn't have anything with us to try and repair it. I don't think I would trek to this unless you just want a challenging hike and all you care about is finding it to find it. Definitely one for the record books!
